Welcome to Engaged Minds!

Welcome to Engaged Minds. We provide specialized 1-on-1 tutoring, in all subject areas, for students aged preschool-12th grade. We also offer executive functioning coaching to support organization, time, management, and study skills. We offer Orton Gillingham-based reading instruction to remediate dyslexia. In short, our tutors cover everything from pre-reading skills to AP calculus!

We know that every individual is unique. We specialize in working with neurodivergent learners, such as students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and autism. We personalize instruction so that it is right on each student’s level and incorporate student interests in the sessions so they are both engaging and productive.

Our tutors are all expert educators who are passionate about working neurodivergent youth. Our tutors are all experienced classroom teachers, many whom hold master’s or doctoral degrees and certification in special education.

We offer in-person sessions in the Triangle area, NC and virtual sessions nationwide.
